Melee/HtH Attacks Running

The only issue I see with non ranged combat is if you try to do a called shot to eye or just normal attack from distance instead of running up to the person you walk like a snail to get the shot in and by that time your either dead or guy is running away.  Any way to enable run all the time mode or when you click on target to attack it runs automatically?

I support this idea.
You should be able to Shift+click on the target to charge the enemy with raised fist.
However, in PvP it should be seen, if someone marked you as a target by opening the combat mode.

I like this idea as well, half the time when im trying to punch a thief i end up getting frustrated cause they keep moving and i just go buy a gun and shoot them.

I can't wait till the guys 'up there' will modify the engine so that could be possible - of course HTH/melee attacks should be running attacks by default. CHAAAARGEEE!

Even though it's old and maybe needed, old combat should be fixed before adding new features. OR we just get even more factors to be considered.

There's no factors that need considering, there's no way around it. Without the ability to run to target hth is gimped in pvp.
