Hi all

My suggestion is : Can we keep armor and items in hands when death come? The other stuffs can will be loot...

Or just the armor destroy? (0%)

The game will be less difficult an more attractive for players solo, sometime they aren't the time to play in teams (or other things)

My apologises, my english is bad  :-[

Yes for full loot.
Critical hits always break armors and weapons already.

i dont like idea  :-\  better is  support idea possibility of looting armors from mobs that is more realistic than that

Solo players have to be hard-ass guys! So or You are macho who dont afraid dead, or You should play in group :)

Hem it's a game, if you want realistic things, do a total death : one life (give me your sheet  ;) )
But you will be *angry* if the master do that....

We can't loot an armor on a npc, because this armor is broken (Fallout 2) why we can loot on a player and not on a npc? It is a non-sense...

I propose that because the game is too hard for a solo player, it's not just anyone who can play with a team... When i play to cod 6, i'm not forced to play with a team, i haven't time for that. (or other energy)

The difficulty in a game is based on probability theory, if the game is too much easy or too much hard, the poeple desert this game.


This don't change the game at all, up hardest the armor crafting to equilibrate? And more players in game... ;)

It was discussed few times since beta was opened. I know Your pain, I cry many times after drop all equip. But believe me - it makes this game better, and really boring is when You dont drop this armor, then You will feel free and really You won't care about fight. What I'm really sad is that there is no more suicide bombers, thieves and gang kills in cities :(

This game will be extremally boring if You will not loose your equip.

I agree either - all you will need to get is one armor and one gun. Why more, if you can use them, and use them, and use them all the time? It's not marriage, one can't be enough ;-)
Yes, it is pain in ... somewhere, when you are losing all this stuff you've achieved so hard. But this makes equipment more valuable, people starts to plan and think, and that's good.

ok that is thing i can agree with there should be percetange possibility of destroy armor on players too when killed (so bastard who kill ya dont take it and armor still will be lost) and percentage possibility of find one intact on players/npc that all but still i dont agree with idea of no losing things at all

as for one final death you live again becouse you are cloned (see intro) and yea i know its "more TLA thing" :P

Hum don't forget that : this script (npc = no loot armor) is come from Fallout 2 : the devs do that to equilibrate the game, who drop too many armor (too much easy, too much money) in Fallout 1!

They do that to equilibrate the game (too easy = boring), not to justify a "realistic" thing ;)

Fonline can be play by more gamers, if it was less difficult, need settings i think for everybody (teamplay and solo)


in future :
teamplay = harcore gamers
solo = gamers


actualy :

teamplay = harcore gamers
solo = ultra harcore gamers

 ;D



Or a other solution : 2 mods : Fonline 2238 (armor equip save) et Fonline 2238 Harcore (for harcore gamers) (actual)

To Roachor—and the OP, a little bit,

It's not about cooldowns and not actually playing the game when you play, it about the concept and principle of the suggested idea.
If another system was in place to throttle the resource stream in the economy, would you still be pushing for things like this?

Death must be more difficult than now. What death does? Loses amor, loses all items, then teleport to random "hospital" or "respawn point" with 10 HP and weakened status... So, if you have no items, death = nothing, you can even specially die to remove radiation effect, or teleport more close to your distination. I can't understand why do you need "Rad-Away" at this game, same as Doctor, you're blinded or crippled leg? What a problem, put all items at tent and then go die somewhere.
So... 1 or 2, or 1 and 2.
1) Lose XP when die.
2) Don't remove cripple/poison/radiated effect after death.

P.S. Also poison.. lol even with Endurance 1 you have faster regenerate rate, than poison kills you. So poison = nothing. Poison must affect endurance and agility, not dealing 1 damage/100 years.

Poison is really dangerous when fighting centaurs or floaters. When the poison lvls come to high you get direct damage instead of only a notification that you have been poisoned. An example. Fight a cenatur wearing CA. You'll get about 10 dmg per hit more or less but when the posion reaches max you can be dead in a couple of hits.

Hmm i was hit by centaurs only few times and i haven't noticed any difference between scorpions and centaurs. I got 2 endurance, so my healing rate is only 2, but my HP regen faster. And if you fight in TB mode that's almost impossible to be hitted by melee critters, only few of them has 10 AP, and 3 or 4 for hit, if you have bonus move or action boy you can even do accurate shot each 2nd turn, or simple shot each turn, other APs for run.
